The Reel Deal Guide Service specializes in the pursuit of Salmon, Steelhead & Sturgeon in the rivers of the Pacific Northwest, using a Jet Sled or Drift Boat, I’ll take you to where the fish are. Specializing in terminal tackle, fly fishing done per request.

As an avid fisherman with over 20 years of experience my passion for the sport has taken me all over the state of Washington. Including the Cowlitz, Skagit, Sauk, Skykomish, & Stillaguamish Rivers. As well as into Alaska, Hawaii & Canada. With an AA in Fisheries Technology, I have a true appreciation for the industry, from both a sport & technical point of view.

I have been fishing since my early years, and can honestly say “I love it!” I grew up fishing in the salt water for salmon; my family would spend the summers at our family’s beach house in Anacortes, Washington. I would spend endless hours fishing with my good friend Jake. We had the use of his 12ft Duroboat and we would go out and fish Biz Point for Chinook salmon. But it wasn’t until 7th grade when we moved from Seattle, Washington to Bellingham Washington that I found the way I really enjoyed the pursuit of these great game fish. I caught my first Steelhead the day after I finished reading the book Steelhead Drift Fishing by Bill Herzog. The fish was a 12 lb buck, and since then I have been Hooked!
